MELISSA KIKIZAS’ Food Industry product placement in AGRIES MELISSES pointed out the timelessness of its products, since the brand “MELISSA” establishment. The brand’s promotion takes place in a grocery store with vintage advertising posters on the walls, thus making the brand part of the setting of the series and by placing MELISSA pasta products’ 1958 packaging on the set, with the contributors of the series making use of them, as written on the script.
MELI ATTIKI with its brand name during that period of time (1958) was branded as “MELI YMITTOU ATTIKI PITTAS”, identifies with the setting of the series and makes an excellent addition with its products placed on the shelves and the counters of the grocery store and the vintage advertising posters on the walls.
DODONI product placement is considered to be particularly creative, as the containers of feta are transformed into pots for plants, something which was really common for most households and cafes (coffee houses) at that time. The feta containers/ pots are placed in the grocery store of the series. This product placement had strong impact on the viewers by emphasizing the emotional value of the product. In addition, there are shots of the brand logo and of the actors using the product.
